MORAGA, Calif. - The Gaels competed in their first home match of the spring season, falling short to San Jose State 4-3.
Saint Mary's took the first doubles with Olivia Rook and Madison Weekley defeating SJSU Seniors Carolina Millan and Jovana Babic 6-1. The Spartans secured the doubles points winning the next two matches against SMC duo Tian Yu Dong and Juliette Daries 2-6, and Stefanie Silva and Sofia Daryaie 4-6.
San Jose State continued to dominate throughout the singles, securing the overall win in just the first three matches.
