SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Saint Mary's (1-2) picked up their first win of the spring on Tuesday as they handily defeated the Hornets (0-5) on the road with a 4-0 decision.
In doubles action, Lene Mari Hovda and Danielle McIntyre teamed up on Court 3 for a big 6-1 win to get the Gaels started. Chloe Goyette and Jordan Harris were paired up as the No. 1 seed and also picked up an impressive 6-2 victory against Dodd/Nielsen to clinch the doubles point.
Mariia Kozyreva and Aubane Ville led 5-3 in their doubles match before it was called.
