DAVIS, Calif. – SMC Women's Tennis has now won three of their last four matches after the Gaels 6-1 victory over UC Davis at the Marya Welch Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
Mariia Kozyreva needed just two sets to defeat Sara Tsukamoto 7-5, 6-1 in match one, while Lene Mari Hovda beat Olive Maunupau 6-0, 6-2. Jocelyn Massey took down Kristina Evloeva 6-0, 6-4 and Jordan Harris outlasted Yana Gurevich in an epic 6-4, 6-7 (8-10), 10-5 win. It was also an incredibly narrow loss for Julia Ronney in the lone match the Gaels didn't claim as they dominated the day overall.
