LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Gaels finish off the weekend with a tough battle against Long Beach State, losing 4-1.
Saint Mary's duo Tian Yu Dong and Juliette Daries finished first defeating Doga Akyurek and Hana Becirovic Novak 6-2. CSULB dominated in the next two double sets, defeating duo Iman Khan and Olivia Rook 6-4, and duo Sofia Daryaie and Stefanie Silva 7-5, to go up 1-0.
SMC started off the singles strong with Daryaie putting up the Gaels only point of the match taking down Paulina Franco Martinessi 6-4, 6-2.
