MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team added another talented international player this month with Aniek Van Rossum of Haarlem, Netherlands, joining the Gaels for the 2016 spring season.
Van Rossum earned a national indoor tournament title in Amsterdam, reached another final and several other semifinals while earning a current ranking of No. 30 in her home country of the Netherlands. She played in national championship tournaments in the Netherlands all through the junior age groups from 12-and-under all the way through 18 years old. She reached her highest national ranking of No.
