EUGENE, Ore. – Saint Mary's Women's Tennis earned a split in their two dual-match play contests at the University of Oregon over the weekend, defeating the University of Idaho
6-1 on Saturday before the Ducks outlasted the Gaels in a 4-1 defeat on Sunday.
SMC took on Idaho on day one of their two-match trip in Oregon for a neutral site match, with the Gaels dominating the Vandals first by taking the doubles point. Jordan Harris and Mariia Kozyreva took down Ke Syuan Jhang and Ines Oliveira 6-3 and Julia Ronney and Jocelyn Massey defeated Melissa Huchet and Jayanne Palma 6-4 as head coach Simon Harston has found some good combos in his doubles tandems.
