MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team has beefed up its offensive fire power for the upcoming season, adding all-star forward Ryen Darling from Las Vegas to play with the team beginning this fall.
Darling was a four-time letterwinner in high school, amassing more than 40 goals in four years of varsity play. Darling split her high school career between Bullard High School in Fresno, Calif., and Valley High School in Las Vegas. Darling is the sister of current Saint Mary’s senior forward Morgan Darling.
In three years at Bullard High, she scored 30 goals and had 21 assists while leading the Knights to three straight appearances in the California Interscholastic Federation Central Section playoffs, including the 2013 championship game.
