Washington, D.C. — The Saint Mary's women's soccer team capped off their east coast weekend with a massive 2-0 victory over 16th ranked Georgetown. This win marks the Gaels fifth straight shutout, their first time recording five consecutive shutouts since 2001, and their first five-game win streak since 2011. Along with all the historic markers from today's win, the Gaels secured their first win over a ranked opponent since defeating 13th ranked Washington State back in 2023.

The scoring began in the 24th minute when Georgetown put the ball into their own net, securing Saint Mary's an early one-goal advantage.
