SAN MATEO, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Soccer Team had four players receive all-conference honors, including Alexis Gutierrez being named the WCC Freshman of the Year. She is the first player from Saint Mary's to capture WCC Freshman of the Year honors since the award was first handed out in 1992.
Suzuna Shibukawa was named All-WCC First Team after the transfer from Western Michigan scored eight goals on the season, becoming the first Gaels player to score eight or more goals since 2014.
Gutierrez was also selected to the All-WCC Second Team along with her Freshman of the Year Honors.
