MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team returns home this weekend, as the Gaels play host to nationally ranked No. 19 Pepperdine for a WCC contest on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m.
SMC has had the advantage the past two meetings versus Pepperdine, as the Gaels forced a draw in the 2014 season and defeated the Waves last year, 1-0.
The Gaels (2-10-2, 0-3 WCC) have lost their first three conference matches, with the latest being a tough 2-1 loss at Santa Clara. In the match, SMC led 1-0 with an exciting last second goal in the first half by Jordyn Cunningham.
