Box Score PROVO, Utah — Saint Mary's (6-7-1, 0-3-1 WCC) couldn't overcome one of the toughest teams in the nation on Friday night as they fell 8-0 on the road to No. 5 BYU (13-0-1, 3-0-1 WCC).
HOW IT HAPPENED
BYU's potent offense came racing out the gates as the Cougars took the first 14 shots of the match and possessed a 4-0 lead going into the halftime break. Saint Mary's held BYU scoreless for the first 26 minutes of the match before the Cougars scored three goals in a stretch of four and a half minutes.
