SAN BRUNO, Calif. - For the first time since splitting the WCC weekly awards into an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week in 2021, Saint Mary's swept both awards with Savannah Schwarze and Kate Plachy earning the weekly honors after a pair of wins over San Jose State and Boston. The Gaels put together their best two performances of the season, outscoring their opponents 6-0 for their first two wins of the season.
Schwarze and Plachy become the first conference players of the week for the Gaels since current forward Briana Salvetti was named Offensive Player of the Week on November 4th of last season.
