FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team will make its eighth straight postseason appearance beginning Thursday in the first round of the 2017 Women’s National Invitational Tournament, as the Gaels travel to Colorado State for a first round matchup.
The tip-off time for Thursday’s game will be announced in the coming days. The Gaels (20-12) won 20 games for the sixth consecutive year in 2016-17 while finishing among the top-three in the West Coast Conference for the fourth time in the last five years. Colorado State (24-8) won the Mountain West Conference regular season title before falling in the conference tournament semifinals.
