MORAGA, Calif. – With the West Coast Conference season at its midway point, the Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team has positioned themselves to make a run at both the conference title and an NCAA Tournament berth.
Saint Mary’s has seen its RPI reach No. 33 this season, and enters the week at No. 50. At 16-4, the Gaels have had several strong wins including Washington State (RPI 52), California (60), Villanova (61), and San Diego (64).
The Gaels have proven they can win on the road sporting a 10-1 mark this season away from McKeon Pavilion.
