SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team earned a hard fought 73-68 win at San Diego on Saturday afternoon at Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Gaels used a huge third quarter and got key stops down the stretch as four Gaels scored in double figures.
Saint Mary’s was led by Stella Beck, just one point off her career-high with 16 points on 8-for-10 field goals. Lauren Nicholson added 16 points, including a key jumper with the shot clock winding down in the final minute of the game.
Sydney Raggio added 14 points and six rebounds, while Devon Brookshire chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.
