MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team (13-4, 4-2 West Coast Conference) looks to continue its success against local WCC squads this week when it travels to Pacific on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Spanos Center in Stockton.
The Gaels have won over 76 percent of their recent meetings with Pacific, San Francisco and Santa Clara, going an incredible 43-13 in their last 56 games against the WCC local rivals.
Saint Mary’s has won three straight WCC games against San Diego, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine, climbing to fourth-place in the conference. After this week, the Gaels will have the Portland/Gonzaga roadtrip to wrap-up the first-half of WCC action.
