MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Women's Basketball is headed to Las Vegas for the WCC Tournament this week, and will take on LMU on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Orleans Arena.
It's a chance to right a wrong or exact some revenge against the Lions for SMC. After splitting the regular-season series last season, LMU jumped out to a double-digit lead in their 2022 WCC Tournament meeting in the second round.
Though the Gaels would trim the Lions double-digit leads down to single digits, including making it a two-point game in the fourth, Saint Mary's was never able to get over the hump to tie the game or capture the lead in a 71-64 loss.
