LAS VEGAS — In their first game of the 2020 University Credit Union West Coast Conference Tournament, Saint Mary's Women's Basketball needed to make a number of adjustments in the second half to remain competitive with LMU. They did just that, overtaking the Lions in the second half and emerging winners with a 72-63 final score to advance to day two of the tournament on Friday.

The Gaels were getting dominated down low in the first half, with the Lions outscoring the Gaels 22-8 in the paint in the first half, and owning an advantage on offensive rebounds.
