BERKELEY, Calif. – The Gaels will make the short trip to Cal to take on the Golden Bears this Saturday at 12:00 p.m. for the 27th all-time meeting between the two programs.
There's come coach crossover between the two programs. New SMC Head Coach, Jeff Cammon, was an assistant at Cal from 2014-16. Former Gaels assistant Heidi Heintz is in her second year as an assistant with the Bears.
The series that dates back to the 1984-85 season. The Golden Bears have a 21-5 series lead along with a five-game win streak, after coming back to sneak out a 69-66 win in Moraga, Calif.
