MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Women's Basketball has added grad student transfer, and Orinda, Calif. native, Clair Steele for the 2022-23 season.
Steele is transferring from Lehigh University where she amassed 269 assists over her four-year career in exactly 100 games played with 38 starts. In her senior season alone, she racked up 131 assists to just 33 turnovers to lead the Patriot league in assist-to-turnover ratio.
The true point guard led the Patriot league in assists per game in her junior and senior seasons with 4.4 apg as a junior and 5.5 apg as a senior for the top scoring team in the league last season.
