LINCOLN, Neb. — The Saint Mary's volleyball team earned its first two victories of 2017 on Friday, going 2-0 on the first day of the Ameritas Players Invitational with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-20) win over Oral Roberts and a 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-6) sweep over University of Maryland, Baltimore County at Nebraska's Bob Devaney Sports Center.
ON THE DAY
· The Gaels (2-3) hit .333 or better in four of the seven sets they played.
· Four different Gaels (Lindsey Calvin, Morgan Hughes, Payton Rund, Sienna Young) had double-digit kill performances.
