MORAGA, Calif. — With a wealth of strength and talent at the net thanks to deep groups of outside hitters and middle blockers, the 2016 Saint Mary’s volleyball skill position players will bring their perfect compliment to make the Gaels dangerous this season.
This year the Gaels feature three setters, all with collegiate experience. Mary Hernandez returns for her junior season after posting 883 assists a year ago. Hannah Liserra will be the team’s lone senior after playing in 53 sets last year. Newcomer Dominique Dodd, sister of former Gael Dalas Dodd, joins Saint Mary’s for this fall after transferring from Florida International University of Conference USA.
