MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's Volleyball wrapped up their 2022 season on Tuesday night with a home contest against the Santa Clara Broncos. After going through a great stretch last week that included a pair of big wins over Gonzaga and Portland, the Gaels came close to replicating that magic again on Tuesday. Unfortunately, they lost their season finale in four sets, with finals of 22-25, 18-25, 25-16, and 12-25. Saint Mary's concludes the year with a record of 9-17, going 6-12 in West Coast Conference play.
BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS
After dropping the first two sets of the night, it seemed like Saint Mary's might go out quietly to end their year, but that would not be the case.
