LOS ANGELES — After 428 days of waiting, Saint Mary's Women's Volleyball hit the floor for the season opener of spring volleyball in the WCC. Traveling to LMU to begin this unique season of play, the Gaels and Lions bounced back and forth for a majority of the four sets played on Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the Gaels, the Lions were a bit sharper on their home floor as LMU took the season opener from the Gaels in four sets.

It's tough to find a more back-and-forth set of volleyball, but that's what viewers were treated to in set two, as the Gaels were looking to draw even with the Lions.
