MORAGA, Calif. — A relentless performance Saturday accented by Lindsey Knudsen’s near 20-20 showing powered the Saint Mary’s volleyball team past Pepperdine, 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18), in a West Coast Conference match at McKeon Pavilion.
The Gaels (8-8, 3-2 WCC) came at the Waves (7-9, 1-3 WCC) with a multi-faceted attack led by Knudsen. Knudsen posted her ninth double-double of the season with 19 kills and 16 digs. But she had plently of help. Five other Gaels had at least five kills and four others had double-digit digs.
Hannah Liserra and Mary Hernandez also posted double-doubles.
