FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Offense was plentiful Sunday for the Saint Mary’s women’s volleyball team with three players notching double-doubles, as the Gaels completed a winning weekend with a 3-1 (25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19) neutral-site victory over North Dakota State at Moby Arena on the campus of Colorado State.
Lindsey Knudsen led all players with 20 kills. She added 13 digs for her second double-double of the young season. Sarah Chase also had her second double-double with 16 kills and 12 digs. Mary Hernandez joined the double-double crowd with 34 assists – her second straight game with more than 30 assists – and 10 digs.
