PROVO, Utah — Saint Mary's put forth a strong effort against the No. 11 Cougars on Halloween night but ultimately fell to the conference's top team in straight sets.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET ONE | The Gaels didn't budge early in the first set and halfway through only trailed by one point, 11-10. BYU would quickly bust the set open however as they took 12 of the next 14 points to take a commanding 23-12 lead. The Gaels strung a few points together towards the end of the set but would eventually fall, 25-15.
