MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's volleyball's Rob Browning recently led the U.S. Women's National Team to their third-consecutive gold medal at the Pan American Cup after sweeping the Dominican Republic in the championship match.
Team USA won every one of their six games in Peru and five came by way of a sweep. Their toughest contest came against Puerto Rico who went four-sets against the U.S. after they took the third by the score of 27-25. In the gold-medal match, the Dominican Republic tested USA in the final set, but the U.S. held on for a 29-27 victory.
