COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — From June 13-18, some of the top collegiate volleyball players will be training in Anaheim for the 2021 USA Volleyball Women's Collegiate National Team, and one of the instructors comes from Moraga. Announced recently by USA Volleyball, SMC Volleyball head coach Rob Browning has been chosen as one of the assistant coaches to work with head coach Chris McGown of Gold Medal Squared.
Browning has seen no shortage of success in Moraga as the head coach of the Gaels Volleyball program, winning 233 matches over his 16 seasons. The Gaels have made five NCAA Tournament appearances under his leadership, including the most recent trip after the 2018 season.
