SAN FRANCISCO — No matter the week, Saint Mary's Track continues to find ways to break program records in impressive fashion. This week, two more records fell on the women's side as the Gaels were split up between the Mike Fanelli Classic and the Stanford Invitational, with season-bests and PRs aplenty for another successful weekend on the track.
Gaels have become accustomed to Rayna Stanziano being the fastest Gael in the bunch, and to a degree that was true this weekend, but she wasn't the only Gael to break a program record. Stanziano was invited to the Stanford Invitational and ran in the 1500m, where she finished third overall in her heat with a time of 4:17.
