NEW ORLEANS — The Saint Mary's men's and women's track teams were once again both named All-Academic teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association last month, proving the programs' successes on and off the track.
The women's team posted a 3.39 cumulative team Grade Point Average, while the men logged a 3.26 cumulative GPA. The women were among the top-75 teams in the country in the 218 women's programs to earn the award. The SMC men were among the country's top-50 teams out of the 142 programs to get the honor.
