LONG BEACH, AZUSA, SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The Saint Mary's Track and Field teams were scattered across California on Friday and Saturday as the teams competed in the Beach Invite, Bryan Clay Invite, and Johnny Mathis Invitational.
AT THE BEACH
Action got started in Long Beach with the women's 5k, as numerous Gaels just missed personal best times. Kaylee Barnes was the quickest of the bunch for SMC, claiming 5th out of 44 runners in a time of 17:42.66.
Emily Field wasn't far behind, as she snagged 9th in a time of 18:10.
