SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Jaden DeSouza broke a school record, along with multiple Gaels hitting new PRs and coming in first for their heat.
DeSouza made history for Saint Mary's today with a school record in the 400 hurdles event coming in fourth overall, finishing first in her heat, hitting a new PR, and clocking in at 1:04.26.
In the 800 meters, SMC had two heat winners and two runners who hit new PRs. Luz Mercado was the first Gaels to finish and winner of her heat with a time of 2:12.
