MORAGA, Calif. — History occurred on the track at San Francisco State this past weekend, as a pair of Saint Mary's records fell at the West Coast Last Chance. Running in both of those record breaking races was senior Jaden DeSouza, who now owns 11 Saint Mary's Program Records and her third Shamrock Office Student Athlete of the Week award this year.
Jaden competed in four events at the West Coast Last Chance meet, winning three of those, and placing second in the fourth. Her second place finish came in the shot put, demonstrating her versatility, and her non-record breaking win came in her specialty event, the 400m hurdles.
