Where they are: Coach Randy Bennett and the Gaels are in a terrific spot, returning everyone from last year’s team that won 29 games, tied for the West Coast Conference title with Gonzaga and just missed on getting to the NCAA tourney. A year ago, no one gave Saint Mary’s a chance -- with not a single starter coming back to Moraga.
