SMC Student-Athletes Make History in the Classroom

Along with wins on the court and the field, more than 30 Gaels earn West Coast Conference All-Academic honors.

Success for Saint Mary’s student-athletes continues to come both in and out of competition, as all 16 Division I Gaels teams posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or better during a historic fall 2022 semester.

The accomplishment, which is believed to be a first for SMC Athletics, represents just how hard the Gaels are working away from the field and court, the water and the pitch.
