MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's College men's basketball team will be wearing gold warm up shirts Saturday night when they face Brigham Young at 7 p.m. inside UCU Pavilion. The gold shirts not only help promote "Be The Match", but hit home personally for Darlene Bennett, head coach Randy Bennett's wife.
Thousands of people are diagnosed every year with life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. Over the past 30 years "Be The Match", operated by the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), has managed the most diverse marrow registry in the world to help save lives through transplants.
