FRESNO, Calif. — Saint Mary's (9-19, 0-3 WCC) couldn't overcome a powerhouse Fresno State (27-7) team on Saturday as they fell in both games of their doubleheader.
GAME 1 RECAP The Gaels had a tough time getting the offense going against Bulldogs' pitcher Hailey Dolcini who ended up tossing a complete game shutout. The senior earned 13 strikeouts against SMC batters while surrendering only one hit. Indya Smith picked up the lone hit for Saint Mary's which was a double to center field in the fourth inning.
