MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s softball team got a complete-game shutout from Lujane Mussadi to earn a split in a West Coast Conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Cottrell Field.
Saint Mary’s is now 17-20-1 overall, 4-1 WCC, while Pacific is now 19-17, 2-3 WCC.
Katelyn Mamizuka led off the first inning with a triple, while Monika Reichhardt singled for the game’s only run.
The Gaels got a key out at the plate during the game as Dylan Linton threw to Hailey Sparacino and the relay home got the potential tying run out and kept the Tigers off the board.
