MORAGA, Calif. – The final day of the Saint Mary’s softball tournament was called off due to continuing rain into Sunday. The Gaels finish the tournament 1-0, while Towson goes 2-0, Manhattan 0-2 and Portland State 0-1.
Similar to Friday, rain continued overnight and into the morning, with more on the way expected Sunday afternoon.
Saint Mary’s will return to action on Tuesday when it hosts Colgate at 3 PM at Cottrell Field. Saint Mary’s will then have a busy weekend playing five games is Santee against Princeton, Harvard, Colorado State, Illinois and Weber State.
