SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Lujane Mussadi of the Saint Mary’s softball team captured her second West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week award, it was announced by the conference office. Mussadi also becomes the second consecutive Gael to earn the honor as Katie Moss earned the award last week.
Mussadi picked up both wins for the Gaels against Pacific as SMC remained in solo possession of first-place, taking 2-of-3 from the Tigers.
After a tough 10-inning loss on Saturday, Mussadi came through with a masterpiece, tossing a complete-game shutout, allowing only four hits. For the week, Mussadi tossed two complete games, 14.
