SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Lujane Mussadi of the Saint Mary’s softball team has been named the West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week, it was announced by the WCC office.
Against Iona, Mussadi was nearly unhittable this week, picking up a pair of wins over the Iona Gaels.
In game one, Mussadi came off the bench to toss 1.1 shutout innings, allowing just one hit in the SMC 3-2 win over the other Gaels.
Getting the start in game two, Mussadi pitched a complete-game two-hitter, facing just 23 batters in 7 innings, two over the minimum.
