RENO, Nev. — Dylan Linton led Saint Mary’s (9-12) on the day with five hits and four runs, but the Gaels dropped two contests on the second day of the Nevada Classic on Saturday, March 11.
SMC will wrap up the classic with a single game on Sunday versus host Nevada at 10 a.m. PT.

In an offensive burst, the Gaels jumped out to an early 2-0 lead at the top of the first inning. With Linton sitting on second, Cara DiMercurio singled through the gap, driving in Linton home for the team’s first run.
