MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s softball team earned a 5-1 win over Seattle during the Saint Mary’s Tournament on Saturday afternoon at Cottrell Field.
In the win over Seattle, Andrea Hazel got things started with a two-run home run in the third inning to help lift the Gaels to victory. Giana Bilotta had a big two-RBI single in the sixth which helped ice the game for the Gaels.
Hazel led the Gaels with a pair of hits and even added a stolen base. Bilotta was joined by Hailey Sparacino, Monika Reichhardt and Katelyn Mamizuka with hits.
