SAN MATEO, Calif. — Senior catcher Hannah Chew has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week after putting up big numbers at the plate last week against UC Davis and San Jose State.
Chew caught all five games for the Gaels during the week and had a stellar performance with the bat as well. The senior went 7-of-15 during the week, drove in five, and scored four times herself. Chew didn't strike out a single time in any of her 17 plate appearances and finished the week with a .
