DAVIS, Calif. — Saint Mary’s (11-16) wrapped up the Aggie Invitational Sunday afternoon with a single game versus Princeton which saw the Gaels fall, 5-1.
SMC was just able to collect two hits on the day as the single run was scored by second baseman Nikki Alexander. After getting on base due to a walk, Alexander ran the bases hard after Dylan Linton blasted a triple in the right center gap to tie the game, 1-1.
The Tigers would make their surge in the bottom-fifth inning, scoring four runs. Princeton would secure four hits in the inning, and only strand a single baserunner in the frame.
