LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Saint Mary’s softball team ended the UNLV Classic in a big way on Sunday, earning a pair of wins against Southern Utah 13-6 and UNLV 4-3. It was the first time this season for the Gaels to win two games in a day.
In the win over SUU, the Gaels pounded out 14 hits and scored 13 times. Bailey Lotz led the way going 3-for-3 with a single, double and home run, her first collegiate home run, adding four RBI.
Katelyn Mamizuka, Andrea Hazel (double, home run), Shannon Low and Dylan Linton all added mult-hit games.
