STOCKTON, Calif. — Saint Mary's softball closed out the month of April with a bang, quite literally. Their offense exploded for one of their best showings of the season in their series finale against the Pacific Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The Gaels used three home runs to their advantage en route to an 8-2 victory to clinch the series win. SMC is now 17-25 (7-5) and has tied the most conference wins in a season under head coach Sonja Garnett.
