STOCKTON, Calif. — Despite having a batter reach base in all but one inning, Saint Mary's fell 4-1 to Pacific (27-24, 10-5 WCC) in the third and final match of the weekend.
Saint Mary's (16-29, 2-10 WCC) notched seven hits in the game but only managed just one run in the seventh inning from a Giana Bilotta home run. Hailey Sparacino led the team with three hits and Eryn McCoy went 1-for-3 in the cleanup spot while also starting in the circle for the Gaels.
Saint Mary's had their best scoring chance in the opening frame after three consecutive singles loaded the bases with only one out.
