PROVO, Utah. – The Saint Mary’s softball team came up on the short end of a pitcher’s duel on Saturday afternoon at Brigham Young. A sixth inning double pushed across the game’s only run as BYU won 1-0.

Katie Moss was stellar in the circle, finishing with a complete-game 6.0 IP, 5H, 1R, 1BB, 1K. The only damage done was a sixth inning RBI double by the Cougars, which allowed BYU to capture the win.

The game started with each team managing just one hit each in the first three innings.
